This time last weekend we were enjoying the wonderful Mountain View Chalets at MolloThaba Lodge with friends from Johannesburg. There were 6 of us and each couple enjoyed having a wonderful comfy chalet with our own bathrooms and gorgeous outdoor showers – beautifully appointed. And in the middle the main lodge with everything you could ask for – large dining table, fully equipped kitchen, bar area, pool table to enjoy in the evening and a comfy lounge with large flat screen TV with DSTV so the men could keep up-to-date with sport. Outdoors – wonderful eating area and the best the Boma for making a fire and cooking our braai and a swimming pool to relax beside and cool off in. In the lodge, we had the help of the housekeeper, Elizabeth who tidied up after us quietly. And included in our stay were 2 game drives a day – Emma took us out on different routes including one morning following the route from the Black Rhino Reserve to the main Pilansberg reserve down a wonderful valley to a picnic sight with a magnificent view for our morning coffee and snacks. On the way back we saw a pride of lions enjoying a recent kill – very special. Emma was a great game ranger – managing to drive down all the dirt roads while stopping to spot animals and birds and knowledgeable on the Reserve and game there. A wonderful weekend break and thank you for Jacqui for arranging it all for us seemlessly. Wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you!
